Day 1:
We pick you up at the hotel in the morning to leave Phuket with our guide who will take care of and provide you information. When the bus crosses Sarasin Bridge to Phang Nga Province, you can feel the lifestyle of the local communities and their livings as well as the scenery of mountains, rubber and palm which are economic plants around the area. Take a short break for a cup of coffee while enjoying beautiful scenery at Khao Lak.
Khao Lak has been hit by Tsunami. Now, there is no mark of damage but only the painful memory of the tragedy. As well as good memory of people who give help to others without discrimination to class, color, nation and religious such like “one world together”. We then take you to Suratthani where the evergreen forest of Khoa Sok National Park is located. While we are on the mountainous and wonderful route, you will see the self-sufficiency lifestyle of the local people which makes us feel envy. Upon arriving Khao Sok you will be enjoying with elephant trekking that will lead you to the miraculous rain forest to see amazing nature of non-decorated biodiversity.
After being excited with nature on elephant’s back for 1.30-2 hours, we lead you to Khao Sok Discovery Camp with the scenery of spectacular hills and mountains which will give you a wonderful and unforgettable memory. Khoa Sok Discovery Camp is a riverside restaurant with easy and natural atmosphere with home grown plants like chilly, corn, etc. You will be enjoying Thai and non-spicy lunch. After lunch we take you to Ratchaprapa Dam which takes about 40 minutes to arrive the pier. We will take long-tailed boat, operated by a professional boatman who knows the route very well, to reach the accommodation Raft House Bungalow(Floating Bungalow).
The boatman profession is reserved only to the local people who were affected by the construction of the dam. To sit in a long-tailed boat is another experience you will enjoy with the beautiful scenery while passing through the limestone mountain that set along the way. Some of the mountains are the habitats of the gibbons and birds. After 1.30 – 2.00 hours of the fresh and watering trip, you can feel how the time is passing so rapid. We lead to the accommodation made of natural materials with separated bathroom. The exciting atmospheres of the floating raft house bungalows are surrounded with mountains and vast space of emerald water. At the raft, we provide canoe for you to adventure the lake and watch beautiful view at your own direction. In the evening, the scent of water and noise of creatures will make your dinner more enjoyable.
After dinner, we will take you to “Night Safari” another boat adventure by watching the living of gibbons, monkeys, snakes and other creatures. Taking the boat adventure during rainy season will let you see more other wildlife such as wild hog, bison, schomburgk’s deer, etc. As they will live in deep forest during dry season. When completing the adventure, you will enjoy your sleep on the floating raft-house.
Day 2: In the morning, you may swim or canoe and enjoy the eminent mountains alongside that are hidden behind the river of fog. Let’s say that it’s a very romantic time. After breakfast, we will take you to another adventure with bamboo rafting after experiencing a long-tailed boat on previous day.
The “Tham Nam Talu” and “Ha Roi Rai” caves are the destination. Inside the cave you will be excited with stalagmite, stalactite, darkness and the noise of bats. When you leave the cave, there is a track to watch the beautiful scenery of Ratchaprapa Dam (Cheao Lan Dam). After the adventure, we will take you to the accommodation for lunch and prepare for the leaving with the pleasant memory. If you have some spare time, please take a visit to the dam. There are many unseen things in Thailand.
